Working A Booth At A Business Expo

Good Morning ,

I’m writing this after working my booth at the Hurst Euless Bedford Chamber of Commerce annual in-person Business Expo, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Hurst Conference Center. I was on my feet for most of that time. So how was a live in-person face-to-face business expo in the time of a pandemic event?
People wore their masks except when eating, and lots of booths had hand sanitizer available including mine. The booths were a bit larger than in the past and the aisles were much wider. I think that there were about 1/3 to 1/2 fewer booths than in past years.
The crowd was very light, which gave the exhibitors time to really talk to the attendees and even each other. I talked to a few people, and I think I got one or two good leads out of it. Also since the crowd was lighter than in the past, I and hopefully others will be able to do more follow-up.
Time will tell just how effective this year’s Expo will be. I will tell you this, as far as I can tell the Euless Bedford Chamber did a good job of conducting a business expo, and I felt good attending it. Except for my aching feet.
Till next time.
