What I learned at the GKIC Info-Summit

Good Morning

I’m back from my week in St Louis at the GKIC Info-Summit.

Allow me to share a little of what I learned.

There is more and more information out there than ever before, and most people need someone to sort out and filter the information for them. People need a curator and interpreter more than ever. You can be that curator/interpreter for your customers. One of the many ways you can do it and also be viewed as an expert in your industry is by producing a monthly printed newsletter along with an email supplement.

Peter Guber, former chairman & CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment and currently founder and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment, talked about telling purposeful stories for your business success. When you tell your story you must develop in your listener an emotional attachment to the information. As you narrate your offering, you must use emotional transportation to move them to action. Always keep in mind WIIFM. Motivate them, be authentic, have and keep your goal in mind and in your story. Be the hero of your story. Your story has to be interactive and have great content.

As I look over my notes from the Info-Summit, I find there is a lot more I can share. I am thinking about holding a private briefing for a select few. There will be a cost associated with it, so if you’re interested in this briefing and discussion, then just drop me an email that you’re interested and I’ll put it together.

Remember, this will be limited to a very small group of people, so let me know at once!

Till Next Week –

Remember – Great Things Happen, But You Have To Take Action, NOW!
