This morning Diane Lampe of the Lampe Co. Was talking about the hidden money secrets which was very good. Diane made a lot of good points. What caught my attention was when she talked about paying yourself first. You all know to pay your self first. Well she was talking about investing in yourself. That is what I am doing by going to these seminars, I’m investing in my self. I’m learning to do my job, run my business better, be more successful.
You might be thinking that good, but in the back of your mind you think ‘how does this effect or help me?’
What I learn I tend to pass along to my clients in the way I can help them to grow their business and become more successful.
As Diane said “You can either pay now or you can pay later.” I would like to add if you pay later you will pay more.
I pay now to not only learn now, but to learn quickly, I’m learning from some of the best out there. Some people tell I’m spending too much money, that I can go to the library, get the books for free, learn on my own and in a few weeks months I’ll get it. The reason I pay for it is that I get it now (speed) and I get access get to the people with the knowledge and get to find out what mistakes that they have made to I can avoid the same ones. This let’s me leap frog ahead of everyone else.
Let me ask this – What are you doing to invest in yourself? Are you taking the slow way or the fast way, so that you can leap frog your competition?
