There are only three ways to grow any business:

1) Increase the number of people who buy from you.

2) Increase the number of items or the amount they buy from you every time they buy.

3) Increase the number of times they buy from you.

 

In the 20 years that I have been operating my marketing business, I have dealt with a lot of businesses, from the one person business just starting out to large national and international corporations. Almost all of them keep going after new customers. I should hope so, because without a constant flow of new customers, businesses will die. But unless you’re the type of business that people can only use once, and there are very few of those around, then you’re probably passing up a very profitable source of business.
