Good Morning
Welcome to the dog days of summer. And at least here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, it’s also the first days of school. For the past two days we had a cold wave here. The temperature dropped to a high of only 96 yesterday. Today we will go back to a high of around 106. The rest of this week we will top out between 104 and 110! With temperatures like these, one does not want to do much, especially outside.
With it being hot and a bit slow (being the first week of school), I figured it would be a good time to work on the copy for my new web site. I wanted to see what I had already used as the company profile on different web sites such as LinkedIn, Google, chambers, etc. that we belong to. I downloaded them all, and each one was different! One even had the old company name. Now I have to sit down and come up with one profile for all my listings.
What I learned and you should learn from my experience is that you need to: 1) Keep track of your listings, 2) Keep them up-to-date, and 3) Make sure they are all consistent.
This is something you can do during these dog days of summer when it’s too hot to take the day off and goof off outside.
