Need a quick way or two to get the word out about your business or a summer sale?
If you have the email addresses and the permission to do so, you can email your customer base. Use a program like Constant Contact or Mail Chimp or one of the others. (Check out the cost and look for free trial offers.) Do not use Outlook! If you send too many at any one time, you will get shut down. But remember, as soon as you send out the email, your competition might know what you’re doing.
If you do not have email addresses or permission, but do have their physical address, try sending a post card. They’re quick and easy to design and get printed, and if you use the bigger size, you can get your postage cut in half. Also your competition will not know what you’re doing until after your customers receive theirs.
