A few days ago I was reading a fax I get every week (Yes, I said FAX!) on marketing and other subjects. Part of the fax talked about excuses people use for not achieving their goals. I think the number 1 excuse is that most people have no goals. But that’s another subject for another time.
The point I want to make is that if you want to achieve your goals you must help it along. You need to have more reasons why you want to reach that goal than excuses for not. As Sidney Bremer said and I’m paraphrasing; If you want your ship to come in, then you got to send out a bunch of ships so one can come in.
It’s time to stop sitting on the dock wishing your ship comes in and get busy sending them out!
