Good Day
Where do you go to talk out ideas, thoughts, maybe even sensitive ones, that you have about your business? Will your employees, vendors, clients, friends or family give honest advice you need and want? No, of course not!
You need an impartial person or group of people. A mastermind group is a good place to start. I’ve been part of a few mastermind groups over the years. It’s a safe place where you can get advice without the negative criticism from people who may say “you’re crazy,” “don’t aim so high,” “you’re wasting your time and money” or something similar.
In a good mastermind group, the people in it are at the same or higher level that you are, so you can learn and grow.
You should also have a coach. Coaches can work one-on-one or in small groups. You know almost all athletes have at least one if not more coaches. Great business leaders (How do you think they became great?) also have them, so why not you?
If you would like more information on mastermind groups, read or listen to Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich.”
Until next time,
