Almost every day I tell myself that I’ll work on growing my business tonight when I get home or I’ll do it “this weekend” after working around the house all day. Well, you know what happens as well as I do, but I will say it anyway: I don’t get it done; either something comes up or I’m too tired.
Does this sound familiar? You really work on your business only when you either are faced with a real deadline or really need the business now, and then it’s too late.
What I need to do, and I suggest you do, too, is to set aside a period of time if not each day at least once a week. I am not talking 2, 3 or 4 hours, I mean 15-30 minutes, an hour at the most.
Now, since I seem to always put off my stuff until the end of the day, I’m going to try to set aside time at the beginning of the day, maybe before I go into the office.
What about you? What time are you going to set aside to work on your business?
