Good Morning ,
It’s now been two weeks since I got my second shot and today my wife is getting her 2nd shot. The only person in my family who has not gotten his shot is our 33 year old son. I’m hoping he gets his very soon. So you should start seeing me again at networking events.
The other day we got a post card stuck in our door for pest control. It was a nice 5.5 x 8.5 inch, thick, full-color glossy card. They did a few good things. They identified the customers’ problems, and they offered a guarantee: “unlimited re-services if pests invade your home in between your regular services, at no charge to you!”
The company lists their USP’s and had their phone number with a call to action “Call today for your free mosquito quote.”
There were several design and copy flaws that could be easily corrected, and I covered those in my July 9, 2020 marketing tip . A good print design advertising/graphic artist, printer, marketing person could have caught the flaws and made the card more effective, and the only additional cost might be their time. It would be well worth it.
