As I was driving home the other day, I noticed from the service road that either a business had reopened or a new business had opened. What caught my attention first from across the street was the big colorful balloon on the roof announcing something about a “bar.” I drove in the plaza to take a look. I saw the banners that stated the “Billion Nail Bar” was now open and that all services were 20% off.
The nail salon created a visual splash in the plaza, which can be seen from one of the busiest freeways in the state. This is a great step in announcing the start/reopening of a business when other businesses are closing.
I’m hoping that the nail bar is doing more to promote themselves than just the banners and roof balloon. I would hope that they’d send out a post card to all the homes in the area using Every Door Direct, maybe placing an online ad on the internet based local web site “Neighborhood” and maybe a print ad in our local “Ad Pages, Savings Magazine” and making sure that their “Google My Business” page is up and running.
If they do all this plus run their business properly with good customer service, they have a good chance of being successful.
