Spring Cleaning

Good Morning,
March has arrived! In about a week we leap forward to Daylight Saving Time. The days are starting to get warmer, at least here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Highs in the 70s. Hopefully I will be able to work on the yard this weekend and get it ready for the coming outdoor season. Getting rid of dead plants, pulling weeds, getting the soil ready and the hoses out. If everything goes OK, next week we can put in the vegetables and herbs. It’s the renewal of life!
The same goes for most businesses. Spring tends to be the time that businesses shake off the cobwebs of winter after the holiday season and are now ready to get the word out about their products and services.
But like me and my yard, these businesses have to do some clean up. They need to make sure their customer lists are up to date and that web site and internet services as well as printed materials accurately reflect their company, products and services. If not, now is the time to get them corrected.
Also now is the time to plan out your marketing/promotional campaigns for the spring and summer.
During the winter I moved some plants indoors. I’m about to move them back outside where they will thrive. It’s cheaper than buying all new plants every year. It’s just like your past and current customers, if you nurture them they will thrive and give you increased business. It’s a lot cheaper than going out to get more NEW First-Time Customers!
Get ready to do spring cleaning on your business marketing now so you can sit back and enjoy spring and summer watching your business thrive and grow.
