Who Are You Selling To, 2

Good Morning

Last week I went over two of the four basic types of buyers’ personas (you can read about the first two by clicking here),   Introspective/Competitive and  Impulsive/Spontaneous. This week we will go over Practical/Methodical and Enthusiastic/Humanistic.
Practical/Methodical – This type of person makes up 40-45% of the population and is assertive with a bias towards logistics. They have an  analytical approach to problem solving. They have their daily rituals and are known to be punctual and organized. Practical people are the analytical members of the group. They favor the adage “measure twice and cut once,” and they make decisions slowly and logically. The question they ask is How?
Enthusiastic/Humanistic – This fourth type of person is dedicated to fairness and makes up 15-20% of the population. They are caring, fair and respectful of other peoples’ beliefs. They tend to make decisions slowly and emotionally, are community minded and want to make a difference in the world. They are the negotiators of the group. They tend to put people before profits and have the rare ability to disagree agreeably with adversaries. They’re open and indirect, and their question is: Who?
Now you know the four types. With this information, the next time you’re in front of a prospect, you will be able to identify the type of person they are, communicate with them effectively and make the sale.
Till next week,
