More Answers To Making Money From Your Web Site

Good Morning
Last week I gave you the answers to some of the critical questions that your website needs to answer. I got the questions (I reworked them to fit your business) from my good friend Lisa Weber, RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) and dental coach who is known as the $600KRDH (www.The600kRDH.com).
This week I will go over the rest of the answers to the questions.
What have you done for others like me? You can show people what you have done by showing off your work (displaying your portfolio) if you can or through testimonials.
Why should I choose you? By knowing your target customer, you can answer their question throughout your web site, so that you are their only choice.
Will you really listen to what I say? By answering their questions you can show that you will listen to them. Using testimonials will also help prove this point.
What are your hours, and are they convenient for me? Make your business hours easy to find. Also make it easy for them to do business with you. If your customers work until 5 pm and cannot make it to your business until 6 pm, then you should not close at 5 pm.
Open later in the day so you can stay open later.
How do you get paid? List if you take only cash or checks; if you take credit cards, list which ones. As with your hours and location, make your payment policy easy to find. Also, do you require a deposit, payment up front, all at time of delivery? Whatever your policy, explain it clearly up front.
Now, why do you need to capture visitors’ information? A lot of people will visit your web site and never go to your contact page and leave you a message. You want to capture information about them so you can market to them. You want to create a lead magnet.
A lead magnet is an irresistible bribe that compels your visitor to give you their name and email address. The irresistible bribe is something that your visitor perceives to have a high value to them. It could be information that educates, such as a report/guide, resource list, cheat sheet. It could be a free trial, software download, quiz/survey, checklist, free tools. What could you give away that your targeted customers would be willing to trade their contact information to have?
