Your Prescription to Minimize L.C.S. (Lost Customer Syndrome)

Good Day
I canceled a service a while back, and now I’m starting to get email from this company. Not the please-come-back type, but general information type emails. While I was using this company, I did not get any form of communication from them at all. I replied to their email with one of my own telling them what I thought. The owner’s reply was not an apology or an attempt to save me as a customer, just a  very to-the-point “we will remove you from our list.”
I get an email from one of those companies that sell money to businesses. I replied to the guy’s email requesting he unsubscribe me as I’m not interested. I got a very nasty email back telling me basically that I’m a fool for not using his service, and too bad, he’s still going to send me emails because I’ll need his service.
Last story: Another guy who sells money (at high interest rates that would make a loan shark blush) called me on the phone. I told him I was not interested, and he should stop calling. Now at least twice sometimes three times a week he calls and leaves a message to call him back.
So what’s the point? Don’t tee off people. I will now never do business with these three companies and had I told you the names of these companies, chances are you might not do business with them and you might even tell your friends and others this story and so on. How much business do you think they could lose? Or better yet, how much business are you losing?
Until next week,
