Business Expo

Good Day

Later today  I will be at the Northeast Tarrant Chamber Business and Catering Expo at the BISD Fine Arts/Athletic Complex, 9200 Mid Cities Boulevard, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.

This is a great way to make new contacts, meet chamber members, enjoy fabulous food, and learn about area businesses.

Having a booth at a chamber or trade show is a great way to get face-to-face with prospective customers and find out what their needs and wants are. It is not the time to sell; these people just want to meet you and get some information. You want to get their contact information and follow up with them after the event.

Years ago I had a booth at a business expo where I gave out bags of peanuts. I met a man who did or maybe still does video. I really don’t remember meeting him that day, but he remembered me. A few years later he called me to help work with one of his clients. Working with that client paid for 20 years of expo booths. On top of that, a number of years ago he called again, and I did some more work for a few of his clients.
