Good Morning
Today starts four days of learning and networking. I am attending GKIC Marketing & Money-Making SuperConference. The conference runs from 8 am till 8-9 pm most of the days.
I’ve had people ask me why I go. The first reason is to learn more about direct response marketing from some of the best that is out there. What’s new and what’s really working. We’re not talking some pie-in-the-sky or corporate junk; we’re talking what other businesses from all types of industries are doing to increase sales.
The second is that I get to meet with other successful marketers (business owners) from all over the world and from all types of industries.
I get to learn what they are doing and then I can take that knowledge and apply it to any business or industry to increase their sales.
The statement that I have learned does not apply but most business owners still hide behind is, “but my business is different.” But after learning from the best and seeing business after business in all kinds of different industries successfully use these same marketing strategies, I now dismiss that statement from business owners. When someone says that, I know that they are either afraid to try something different or they are unwilling to be open and willing to grow their sales.
