Testimonials How To Use Them

Good Day
Third party testimonials can add credibility to your business when used correctly. Most businesses do not use them properly, and it can do more harm than good.
The elements of a good testimonial should include the person’s full name, business if it’s a business testimonial and the first name and initial of the last name and city. This adds credibility, just having two initials does nothing.
The testimonial needs to address one objection in the mind of the prospect before the prospect brings it up, to nip it in the bud. It also need to be concise and to the point.
Here is a testimonial that does not meet any of these points; “Phil and My Marketing Cure did a great job” – M.W.
This would be better; ” Phil and My Marketing Cure did a great job getting out my post cards.” – Mary White, The Cupcake Shop.
Best would be: “I turned to Phil Freedman and My Marketing Cure when I needed someone I could trust to get the job done correctly and on time. Phil did that and got my post cards out early and under budget. Thanks for taking the pressure off me.” – Mary White, The Cupcake shop, Colleyville,TX.
Which testimonial answers your concerns and is more believable?
