Businesses Next Step

Good Morning,
As you know, the Coronavirus has affected our lives. There is a good chance that your business is closed or, if it’s still open, work has slowed. By now you have sent out a notice to your customer base letting them know your business operational status. Now what do you do?
If you have not done so, you need to update all your social media with the same information as well as your Google My Business site, your Yelp and other review pages. To make sure all your customers have been contacted, you need to either send out a letter or a post card.
After you do all this you cannot just sit back and wait, only reconnecting once you reopen and everything is back to somewhat normal. That will be too late. You need to connect with your customer base at least every two weeks if not weekly. Medical experts have stated that this could last well past April.
In your communications with your customers, you can keep them up to date on what if anything is happening to your business, yourself and your staff. You can highlight individual customers, present case studies as ways to illustrate products or services, even ideas to keep cabin fever at bay. You can have your customers tell you and your other customers how and what they are doing, what needs they have and how everyone else can help.
The important point is that you stay in contact with your base, keeping the relationship strong. Remember, people will do business with people they know, like and trust and keeping in contact with them on a regular basis does that.
If you need help with putting these and other ideas into action, or need ideas, just contact me. I’ll be happy to talk via zoom, phone or email!

Till next week, stay healthy,

Great Things Happen, But You Have To Take Action NOW!
