When Your Marketing Stops Working

Good Morning
Last week was not a good week. This week started out better, until Tuesday when my main computer died. The only thing that was not backed up in the last few days was Outlook and my emails. I was going to do it while I went to the post office.
On to marketing your business.
What have you learned from all the things that have happened to me over the past week?
One, you have to keep pushing ahead, no matter what. And second, you have to have backups in place for when things go south.
When SEO, or your Facebook ads, no long brings in the customers, what is your backup plan? When Google changes their algorithms again and your listing moves from the top of page one to maybe page 2 if you’re lucky, and business drops off, what is your backup? How are you going to get customers?
You should have your plan ready to kick off on a moment’s notice. Better yet, you should have multiple methods of promoting your business working already. This way, if one suddenly stops working, it won’t kill your business; you’ll have a slight down tic, but you will still be able to carry on.
As the saying goes, when is the best time to plant a tree? Answer: 20 years ago. When is the second best time? Now! So if you don’t have a plan or multiple methods, now is the time to get them.

Until next week,
