Are You A Wimp?

 

Good Morning

The other day I got a sales letter. Besides being boring and giving me no reason to buy, the person ended the letter with this:

‘If you are interested in finding out more about X, please contact me.

Sincerely.’

If this wasn’t a wimpy close, I don’t know what is. In fact if you produce a wimpier one from any letter you get, I’ll give you a prize. Just email the letter to me at TFC@freedcom.com .

 A good close will give the reader a great offer, very strong reasons to take action, and will tell the reader exactly what action they are to take, how to take action and when with a deadline of some type.

People are not stupid, but you must tell them what you want them to do in the order you want them to do it. Otherwise, they will not do anything.

 Don’t be a wimp with your close, Be Strong!

 Remember: Send me by email (tfc@freedcom.com) your most wimpy sales letter close by Monday, January 28, and get a prize. You will also get mentioned here next week along with your web site, so email those letters now!
