Good Day
A few weeks ago it was Tax Free Weekend in Texas. During the weekend an assortment of clothes and school related items are on sale tax free. Most stores have big back to schools sales that weekend.
My daughter works in retail at a store that had nothing on the list of tax free items, but they did tie in to the back to school sales.
This week and next are the weeks I stay away from office supply stores. Last week and this week school started, and everyone is buying school supplies. The office supplies stores and others (even supermarkets) are having school supply sales. Plus Labor day is coming up and everyone will have Labor Day and end of summer sales at almost the same time.
I know infomarketers and others (non-retail) that have Black Friday Sales (the Friday after Thanksgiving).
If you are not tying in to holidays, events, happenings for customer engagements, then you’re missing out on income growing opportunities.
Here is just a very brief list of holidays for September;
- 1-30, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Month
- 1-30, National Recovery Month
- 4, Labor Day
- 10, National Grandparents Day
- 11, Patriot Day and National Service and Remembrance
- 29, Yom Kippur
All businesses can tie in. If you need ideas on how you can do it, contact me.
Until next week,
Great Things Happen, But You Have To Take Action, NOW!
