Need More Customers? Then Go Back, Go Back!

We are now in the last month of the year. If you are a retailer, I hope you had a great Black Friday and sales are staying strong. For everyone else, I hope people are still needing you and all your business has not stopped for the next month because “it’s the holidays” and all you hear is “we’ll get back to you around the 1st of the year.”

Whether you’re going strong or your business is starting to dry up, there is stuff you can do – rather, you SHOULD do – to keep your business strong and your customers coming back. You need to go back to the basics!

You remember things that your parents taught you. To be helpful, to care about others, to say may I, please and thank you. One of those big basics, to say thank you, has fallen by the wayside.

I should know, I’m as guilty of not sending thank-you notes as everyone else. I get busy, and it becomes the last item on the list and then I’m tired and, well, my handwriting is so bad no one can read it, and on and on. Does any of this sound familiar?

Well, I can always do email thank-yous, maybe even send them out as a group, you know to undisclosed recipients; boy, that’s very personal.

When was the last time you got a handwritten note, or even a greeting card? How did you feel? I bet you got a nice warm feeling about it and the person who sent it, didn’t you?

Now, how do you think your customers will feel? Do you think they will want to do business with you again?

Take the time now to thank your customers and ask them to come back.

I have developed a program to send out my cards and will be offering it to businesses as well. If you want more information about this program just email me at TFC@freedcom.com with Thank you in the subject line.

Darryl Day would like this program, although he does write his cards himself.

You still have time to to get more customers before the end of the year by using outrageous marketing techniques. Let’s talk!

  1. I constantly spent my half an hour to read this
weblog’s content all the time along with a cup of coffee.

  2. Amazing blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.

Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option?
There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any ideas? Kudos!
